Project of Activity Based Costing Application in a Particular Company

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je aplikace projektu Activity Based Costing ve vybrané společnosti. V rámci řešení byly použity analýzy nákladů a současného kalkulačního sytému. Na jejich základě bylo provedeno zhodnocení a bylo doporučeno řešení, které odstraní nedostatky současné kalkulační metody. V práci navržené řešení obsahuje aplikaci metody Activity Based Costing, která umožňuje přesnější alokaci režijních nákladů. Hlavním přínosem této práce je zjištění skutečnosti, že firma v současné době některé své výrobní náklady eviduje v podhodnocené výši. Výsledky této práce jsou podkladem pro aplikaci dané metody do podnikové praxe.

Abstract:

The main objective of this diploma thesis is the project of Activity Based Costing application in a particular company. The cost analysis and the current calculation system were used within the solution. On the basis of the evaluation the solutions were performed and recommended that eliminate the disadvantages of the current calculation method. The work proposes the solution including the application methods Activity Based Costing, which enables more accurate allocation of overhead costs. The main contribution of this work is to identify the fact that the company curently recorded some of their production costs in undervalued rate. The results of this work are the basis for the application of the method into practice.
