Abstract:

Práce je zaměřena na stanovení a popis faktorů přímo nebo nepřímo ovlivňujících vývoj společenstev fytoplanktonu ve vybraných rybnících, konkrétně pak živinami, vývojem zooplanktonu i samotnou produkcí ryb. Byla sledována dynamika populací fytoplanktonu rybníků s různou rozlohou i různou roční produkcí ryb, jejichž primárním účelem je chov kapra obecného. Celkové výsledky této práce odhalily zhoršenou kvalitu vody, vysoké koncentrace živin a chlorofylu-a. Všechny parametry vykazovaly výrazné výkyvy jak v rámci jednotlivých vzorkovacích období, tak i meziročně. Téměř ve všech rybnících se pravidelně vyskytoval vodní květ sinic, kterým obvykle dominovaly druhy vázající dusík. Výsledky statistických vícerozměrných analýz ukázaly, že variabilitu fytoplanktonu mohou ovlivňovat různé faktory, a že živiny nejsou vždy hlavním hnacím faktorem rozvoje fytoplanktonu. Například první studie této disertační práce prokázala, že nejdůležitějšími faktory ovlivňujícími variabilitu fytoplanktonu je železo a nadmořská výška, zatímco produkce ryb neměla žádný vliv. Ve druhé studii byl prokázán silný vztah mezi zooplanktonem a fytoplanktonem, ačkoli dostupná literatura uvádí u těchto společenstev v hypertrofních rybnících opak. Výsledky disertační práce naznačují, že ačkoli je fytoplankton předmětem výzkumu již velmi dlouho, vývoj tohoto společenstva v hypertrofních rybnících je velmi složitý a v dalších studiích by bylo vhodné zahrnout některé opomíjené faktory.

Abstract:

The presented thesis aimed at the determination of factors potentially influencing the development of phytoplankton assemblages in fishponds. The thesis also deals with nutrients, fish production and zooplankton which are important components of the fishpond ecosystem, and influence phytoplankton either directly or indirectly. Phytoplankton of fishponds, primarily used for carp production, with different surface areas and annual fish yields, were monitored. The overall results of this thesis revealed deteriorated water quality, high concentrations of nutrients and chlorophyll-a. All parameters exhibited significant fluctuations within a single sampling season and from year to year. In almost all fishponds, cyanobacterial blooms regularly occurred, typically dominated by nitrogen-fixing species. Results of multivariate analyses indicated that various factors can influence phytoplankton variability and that nutrients do not always have to be the primary driving factor for phytoplankton development. For instance, in the first study included in the thesis, iron and altitude were the most important factors explaining phytoplankton variability, while fish production had no effect. Phytoplankton-zooplankton association in the second study was strong, although the literature reports a weak relationship between these two assemblages in hypertrophic conditions. Results of these studies show that, even though phytoplankton has been in research focus for a very long time, the development of this community in hypertrophic fishponds is very complex, and further studies, including often neglected factors, are still necessary.
