Abstract:
Surveillance art je specifickou oblastí umění, která vznikla s příchodem nových médií. Do většího zájmu umělců se tento druh umění dostal po roce 2001. Ve svých dílech reflektují, jak se se sesbíranými daty z CCTV (kamer), dat z internetu a dalších médií dá naložit, a to často v negativním slova smyslu. Surveillance art is a specific field of art, that has emerged with the arrival of new media. This kind of art has come into greater interest of artists after year 2001. In their works they reflect on what can be done with the data collected from CCTV (cameras), internet data and other media. Often in a negative sense.
