Restoration of Collection of Paintings on Paper

Abstract:

Tato práce popisuje komplexní restaurování na pěti uměleckých dílech na papírové podložce od různých malířů. Jednotlivými technikami restaurovaných děl byla olejomalba od neznámého autora, olejová tempera od J. K. Karmana, pastel od Kubišty, perokresba od Preislera a na restaurovaný akvarel volně navázala teoretická část s názvem "Tvorba Viktora Faltise a Litomyšl". Čímž vzniklo krátké pojednání, ve kterém byl zařazen životopis, jeho výtvarná tvorba ale i pár vybraných obrazů ke srovnání.

Abstract:

This report describes a complex renovating of five artworks, which are placed on a paper pad created by different painters. Techniques, in which the renovated artworks were created, were: oil painting from an unknown author, oil tempera from J. K. Karman, crayon from Kubišta, pen and ink drawing from Preisler. The following work after the renovated watercolour painting was a theoretic part, which is called "Work of Victor Faltis and Litomyšl." Thus, a short essay was written. There were included a biography, his art production and few chosen paintings as a comparison.
