Cieľom tejto bakalárskej práce je opis dokumentárneho akreditívu, jeho vývoja, vlastností a najdôležitejších druhov. Mojím záujmom bol opis pôvodnej, papierovej formy a jeho porovnanie s novšou elektronickou verziou.
