Consequences of neoliberalization for social work

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce Důsledky neoliberalizace pro sociální práci se zabývá otázkou vývoje neoliberalismu a následně jeho dopadem od roku 2007 do roku 2015. Cílem práce je provést komparaci sociální politiky teoretického neoliberalismu se sociální politikou německého welfare státu. Práce je zaměřena na situaci v České republice a Německu ve kterých vycházím z literatury zejména Friedmanna, Espinga-Andersena, Knobla a Zapfa. Práce se zabývá teoriemi sociálního státu a neoliberalismu ve kterých se řeší bydlení, nezaměstnanost a sociální zdravotní péče. Hlavní aspirací této práce je poukázat vývoj situace sociální práce v neoliberalismu a welfare státu. Poté se zaměřit na kritiku inspirovanou tezemi Wacquantova reálného neoliberalismu. A ve výsledku poukázat na přínosy a nedostatky těchto směrů v sektorech které ovlivňují politiku a sociální práci.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis Consequences of neoliberalization for social work deals with the issue of the development of neoliberalism and its impact from 2007 to 2015. The aim is to compare the social policy of theoretical neoliberalism with the social policy of the German state welfare. The work is focused on the situation in the Czech Republic and Germany, in which I draw on the literature, especially Friedmann, Esping-Andersen, Knobl and Zapf. The thesis deals with theories of the welfare state and neoliberalism in which housing, unemployment and social health care are addressed. The main aspiration of this work is to point out the development of the situation of social work in neoliberalism and state welfare. Then focus on the critique inspired by the theses of Wacquant's real neoliberalism. And as a result, point out the benefits and weaknesses of these directions in sectors that affect politics and social work.
