History of the largest road lap cycling races

Abstract:

Cyklistika je v současné době jedním z nejmasovějších sportovních odvětví. Je nejsnáze dostupná veřejnosti, a to na jedné straně formou aktivní, ale i na druhé straně formou pasivního sledování. Královnou cyklistiky je bezesporu cyklistika silniční. Moje práce se zabývá rozkrytím historie vzniku a konání tří nejvýznamnějších silničních etapových závodů pořádaných v Evropě, respektive ve Francii, Itálii a Španělsku: Tour de France, Giro d’Italia, La Vuelta a España. Mapuje jejich vývoj jak v souvislosti s dobovými historickými událostmi, tak i s rozvojem cyklistiky jako stále masověji provozovaného sportu. Je současně vyzdvižením sportovců, jež tyto závody vynesly na vrchol sportovní popularity a charakterizuje nejrespektovanější osobnosti těchto tří závodů. V publikaci se zabývám jednotlivými závody individuálně, ale i ve vzájemné souvislosti, současně jsou v práci zakomponované vlastní názory a hodnocení.

Abstract:

Cycling is currently one of the greatest mass sports. It is easily accessible to the public, on the one hand, an active form, but on the other hand, in the form of passive surveillance. Is undoubtedly the queen of cycling road biking. My work deals with the description of the history, origins and three of the major road lap races held in Europe in France, Italy and Spain: Tour de France, Giro d'Italia, La Vuelta a España. Traces their development both in the context of contemporary historical events, as well as with the development of cycling as a sport still increasingly practised. It is also highlighting athletes who brought these plants to the top of the popularity of sports and characterizes the most respected personalities of the three races. The publication deals with the various races individually, but also in relation to one another, are currently being incorporated in the work of their own opinions and evaluations.
