Anotácia:

The diploma thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. The main goal of this work is to describe modern tax system of the Republic of Kazakhstan and it is impact on the economy and business in Kazakhstan, with using official data’s of government and implementing comparison analysis via periods(years)and to other countries. The first part of Diploma thesis describing the essence and function of taxes, its development. As well as modern state of Kazakhstan tax system and its characteristics and collection. The practical part devoted to the observation of tax system and its impact on the economy and business in Kazakhstan. Assessment of tax burden, international competitiveness of Kazakhstan tax system, comparative analysis of VAT and sales tax will be considered. Contingent sales tax will be calculated in case to be compared with actual VAT, to describe which kind of tax could be more acceptable in the Republic nowadays. Considerable attention will be paid to corporate and income taxes, businessman’s perception of tax burden in order to describe tax impact.
