Theory of Deliberative Democracy in Real Politics
Abstract:
Práce se zabývá rozmanitými demokratickými experimenty z poslední doby, které využívají ve své praxi teoreticky formulovaných deliberativních praktik. Vychází z normativní formulace deliberace coby demokratické praktiky odvozené z hodnot rovnosti a svobody. Na základě vlastní metodiky popisuje osm různých experimentů v nejrůznějších formách.
Abstract:
Thesis deals with diverse democratic exercices lately undertaken in the world that employ deliberative theory based procedures in their practices. It starts with normative formulation of deliberation as a democratic practice stemming from basic values of equality and freedom. It describes eight exercices from around the world in their most diverse forms.
