Abstract:

Absolventská práce se zabývá výzkumem potřeb rodičů dětí se sluchovým postižením. Do výzkumu bylo zařazeno pět rodin. Cílem výzkumu bylo zjistit, zda nabízené sociální služby naplňují dle názoru rodičů jejich potřeby při péči o dítě se sluchovým postižením. Výzkum specifikoval a utřídil potřeby rodin dětí se sluchovým postižením do dvou hlavní skupin: potřeby spojené s péčí o dítě a potřeby spojené s vyrovnáváním se s postižením dítěte. Zároveň vymezil, které z těchto specifických potřeb jsou naplňovány prostřednictvím sociálních služeb.

Abstract:

The paper focuses on a variety of needs of parents with children with hearing impairment. There are five families which participated in the research. The goal of the research is to discover whether a social service which is offered and available to these families meets their needs while caring for their children with hearing impairment. The needs are divided into two groups based on findings of the research: needs linked to the care for a child, and needs linked to the ability of parents to cope with the reality of child’s disability. Additionally, the thesis defines specific needs which are satisfied through the social service.
