Integration of Furit Distillates and Liqueurs into Bars and Nightclubs - their Promotion and Competitiveness

Abstract:

Student se v rámci práce zaměřuje na propagaci destilátů a likérů s primárním zájmem o segment ovocných destilátů a likérů. Zjišťuje, v jak velké míře se nápoje konzumují v gastronomických podnicích a jak moc jsou propagovány, zda na ně existuje reklama a jestli zažívají v aktuální době vzestup či úpadek. Jsou ovocné destiláty a likéry stále relevantním zbožím? Mají mladší generaci lidí co nabídnout, nebo se mají soustředit spíše na starší populaci? Odpověď je vyhodnocena ve výzkumu a shrnuta v návrhové části. Bakalářská práce má tři hlavní části – teoretickou, praktickou a návrhovou. Teoretická část obsahuje historii propagace alkoholických nápojů a blíže definuje její vývoj v průběhu minulého století. Dále je v této části popsána technologie výroby samotných destilátů a likérů. Nakonec je definován pojem bar a tím i místo, kde je výzkum prováděn. V praktické části jsou uvedeny výsledky rozhovorů pomocí kvalitativní metodologie. V poslední, návrhové části jsou shrnuty výsledky pozorování i dotazníků a navržena řešení pro zlepšení situace ovocných destilátů a likérů na tuzemském trhu.

Abstract:

The student’s work focuses on propagation of spirits and liqueurs with main interest in segment of fruit spirits and liqueurs. He finds out, how much are these alcoholic drinks consumed in gastronomic establishments and how much are they promoted, also if there is there is any advertising of spirits and liqueurs. He answers a question, if these alcoholic drinks are expecting rise or fall. Are fruit spirits and liqueurs still relevant goods? Do they have still something to offer for younger generation, or should they just focus on older generation? The answer is evaluated in the research and summarized in the suggestion section. The bachelor thesis has three main parts – theoretical, practical and suggestion. The theory deals with the history of propagation alcoholic beverages and what was their evolution in previous century. Furthermore, this section describes the technology of production of distillates and liqueurs. Finally, the term bar is defined and thus the place where the research is carried out.The practical part presents the results of own observations and also the results of questionnaire surveys. In the last, design part, the results of observations and questionnaires are summarized and solutions are proposed to improve the situation of fruit distillates and liqueurs on the domestic market.
