The influence of sheep grazing on grassland in the Beskydy Protected Landscape Area

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce bylo posoudit a vyhodnotit druhovou skladbu pastevních porostů na dvou lokalitách. Cílem také bylo zjistit, jaké druhy v CHKO Beskydy dominovaly, jak se změnila druhová skladba porostu s nadmořskou výškou, pedologickými a klimatickými podmínkami? Jak se měnila kvalita travního porostu, indexy diverzity, byly prokazatelné rozdíly mezi lokalitami a ovlivnila pastva ovcí travní porost během roku?K porovnání druhové skladby porostu bylo využito fytocenologického snímkování pomocí projektivní dominance a ke kasifikaci rostlinných společenstev byl využit curyšsko-montpellierský systém. Pro vyhodnocení druhového složení pastevních porostů byl využit výpočet středního čísla dusíku, středního čísla vody, kvality travního porostu, indexu dominance podle McNaughtonova, Hillova indexu diverzity, Shannonova indexu diverzity, indexu ekvitability podle Pielouové, index kvalitativní podobnosti a statistické vyhodnocení.Na lokalitě Za Kopcem dominovala Festuca rubra L. a na lokalitě Hutisko Festuca pratensis Huds., Dactylis glomerata L. a Trifolium repens L.. Druhová skladba byla ovlivněna podmínkami prostředí, což prokázala i kvalita travního porostu. Lokalita Za Kopcem bilancovala na hranici nízkého až středního indexu diverzity, lokalita Hutisko dosahovala středního indexu diverzity. Mezi lokalitami byly statisticky průkazné rozdíly. Extenzivní pastva podpořila nárůst bylin a pastvině zatížené 0,93 DJ.ha-1 se zvýšil výskyt nižších trav.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis was to assess and evaluate the species composition of grazing stands in two localities. The aim was also to find out what species in the Beskydy protected landscape area (PLA) dominated, how the species composition of the stand changed with altitude, pedological and climatic conditions. As the quality of grassland, diversity indices changed, there were demonstrable differences between sites and affected grass grazing during the year.Phytosociological imagery using projective dominance was used to compare the species composition of the stand and the Zurich-Montpellier system was used to casify plant communities. For the evaluation of the species composition of the foot stands, the calculation of the mean nitrogen number, mean water number, grassland quality, McNaughton's dominance index, Hill's diversity index, Shannon diversity index, Pielou's equivalence index, qualitative similarity index and statistical evaluation were used.The locality Za Kopcem was dominated by Festuca rubra L. and Festuca pratensis Huds., Dactylis glomerata L. and Trifolium repens L. in the locality Hutisko. The species composition was influenced by environmental conditions, which was also proved by the quality of grassland. The locality Za Kopcem balanced the low to medium diversity index, the Hutisko locality reached a medium diversity index. There were statistically significant differences between sites. Extensive grazing has caused an increase in herbs and the optimal pasture load has increased the incidence of lower grasses.
