Cybersecurity and defense of critical energy infrastructure in Ukraine: Frame analysis of discourse

Anotácia:

Cyber threats to the energy sector and infrastructure raise more concerns year by year. After series of devastating cyber attacks on crucial sectors of the Ukrainian economy, including energy sector, debates regarding the resilience of Ukraine towards preventing attacks and managing the outcomes of successful attacks have shifted attention towards cyber space and produced fruitful ground for discussions. Given the crucial importance of energy infrastructure to the country’s internal and external security, this research proposes to study cyber security and defense of energy sector and especially critical energy infrastructure issue in Ukraine from perspective of social studies by using frame analysis of discourse connected to cybersecurity of energy sector.
