The lexicon of VoIP

Abstract:

The thesis with the title “Le lexique de la VoIP” compares the lexicon of VoIP in Czech and French. It tries to offer a perspective for these lexicons which belong to the sphere of communication. In the introduction, it concerns the position of terminology of communication, and at the same time, it presents the corpus of thesis. The main part of the work is about the analysis of two main parts of lexicon (nouns and abbreviations). In this chapter, it speaks about every element of corpus. Then it tries to propose a general conclusion on the basis of knowledge which we gain during the analysis. At the end of the thesis, there is the conclusion about the tendencies in the languages and about the differences between them.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem “Le lexique de la VoIP” porovnává lexikum VoIPu češtiny a francouzštiny. Cílem práce je poukázat na rozdílné tendence v tomto odvětví komunikací. V úvodní části se představuje terminologie z obecného hlediska, zvláště její kodifikace (konkrétně pro VoIP), zároveň je představen i korpus práce. Hlavní část práce představují kapitoly zabývající se kategorií podstatného jména a iniciálových zkratek. V závěru práce jsou představeny tendence pro oba jazyky a rozdíly mezi nimi, ke kterým se došlo po analýze korpusu.
