Impact of therapy Son-Rise Program(R) on the development with autistic spectrum disorder

Anotácia:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na vliv terapie Son Rise Program(R) na rozvoj dětí s poruchami autistického spektra v oblastech grafomotoriky a komunikace. Teoretická část se zabývá především diagnostikou, charakteristikou jednotlivých druhů poruch autistického spektra a popisem některých v praxi běžně využívaných metod práce s dětmi s poruchou autistického spektra, včetně popisu terapie Son Rise Program(R). V praktické části byla analyzována data získaná pomocí pozorování a hloubkových rozhovorů s respondenty výzkumu. Pro zvýšení validity výzkumu byla určena kontrolní skupina dětí s poruchami autistického spektra pracujících podle strukturovaného učení a bylo uskutečněno pozorování dětí z obou skupin zaměřené na zkoumané oblasti. Rozhovory s rodiči i pozorování dětí byly provedeny ve dvou termínech s odstupem přibližně šesti měsíců. Cílem této analýzy je pokusit se zjistit míru vlivu terapie Son Rise Program(R) na výše uvedené oblasti a nastínit, zda lze, a v jakém rozsahu, tuto terapii využívat v pedagogické praxi.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is focused on the influence of the Son Rise Program(R) on the development of children on the autistic spectrum and their issues in the area of graphomotor skills and communication skills. The theoretical part deals mostly with the diagnostics and specifics of each version of autistic spectrum disorder and describes some of the commonly used methods of work with children with autistic spectrum disorder, including details about the Son Rise Program(R). The practical part analyzes the data collected by observation of in-depth interviews with the respondents of the research. To increase the validity of the research, a control group of children with autistic spectrum disorder working according to the structured learning was established and children from both the groups were observed with the focus on the areas in question. Interviews with parents of the children were conducted in two sessions with the delay of approximately six months. The goal of the analysis is to attempt to discover the level of the influence of the Son Rise Program? on the areas mentioned above and to outline if it is possible and to what extent to use this therapy in teaching practice.
