Analysis of the depiction of the subject of war using the example of two selected works of German-language literature

In my bachelor’s thesis, I focus on the comparison of two novels with an anti-war theme. Both books take place during the First World War. The first work I chose is Krieg by the German author Ludwig Renn and the second work is Im Westen nichts Neues, where the author is Erich Maria Remarque. Ve své bakalářské práci se zaměřuji na srovnání dvou románů s protiválečnou tématikou. Děj obou knih se odehrává během první světové války. Prvním mnou vybraným dílem je Krieg od německého autora Ludwiga Renna a druhým dílem je Im Westen nichts Neues, kdy zde je autorem Erich Maria Remarque.
