Práce se v první části věnuje jednotlivým přístupům, možnostem a novým trendům v humánní genové terapii, výhodám a nevýhodám oproti klasické terapii. Jsou zmíněny jak konkrétní postupy, tak příklady praktického využití u vybraných onemocnění. V další části se práce zaměří na mechanismus RNA interference. The first part of this work contains several aproaches and new trends in human gene therapy, its advantages and disadvantages compared to conventional therapy. The mechanism of RNA interference is summarized in the second part of the work. The strategy of usage of RNA interference in human diseases treatment is mentioned. Special attention is paid to siRNA.
