Práce pojednává o umělecké kritice v pojetí Oscara Wilda, jejím cílem je na základě Wildových teoretických textů a esejí (Intence, Lidská duše za socialismu) charakterizovat Wildovo pojetí umělecké kritiky. Práce se pokusí odpovědět na otázky, jaká je podle Wilda funkce umělecké kritiky a jaká jsou kritéria dobré umělecké kritiky. The thesis explores artistic criticism as conceptualized by Oscar Wilde, aiming to characterize Wilde's approach to artistic criticism based on his theoretical texts and essays ('Intentions,' 'The Soul of Man under Socialism').
