Physiotherapy focused on the correction of hallux valgus

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje tématu hallux valgus se zaměřením na jeho korekci. Práce je rozdělená na dvě části. V teoretické části se čtenář dozví informace o anatomii nohy, kineziologii chůze a jaký na ni má vliv vbočený palec. Dále jsou shrnuty a stručně popsány jednotlivé deformity přednoží a podrobně je popsán hallux valgus, jeho etiologie, etiopatogeneze a možnosti léčby. V neposlední řadě se teoretická část věnuje vyšetřovacím metodám a možnostem fyzioterapie u této deformity. Cílem této bakalářské práce je shrnout poznatky týkající se hallux valgus a vytvořit brožuru se základními informacemi a cviky pro tuto deformitu. Brožura byla sestavena na základě poznatků z praktické části práce, ve které byla předepsána konzervativní léčba, kdy byly na pacientku aplikovány měkké a mobilizační techniky spolu s vybranými cviky z různých metod a konceptů, které jsou popsány v teoretické části.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the topics of hallux valgus with focus on its correction. Thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, reader will learn about the anatomy of the foot, kineziology of gait cycle and how it is affected by the hallux valgus. Furthermore, other deformities of the forefoot are summarized and briefly discussed. Etiology of hallux valgus, etiopathogenesis and treatment options are then described in detail. Last but not least the theoretical part deals with examination methods and possibilities of physiotherapy for this deformity. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to summarize the knowledge about hallux valgus and create a brochure containing basic information and exercises for this deformity. The brochure is based on the practical part, where the conservative treatment was chosen. There were applied soft and mobilization techniques on the patient together with some exercices described in the theoretical part of the thesis.
