Abstract:

Disertační práce „Stav a vývoj teorie a praxe strategického managementu“ se zabývá strategickými aktivitami a jejich aplikací v organizaci, přičemž se zčásti zaměřuje i na organizace veřejné správy. Hlavním cílem této práce je „vytvořit model úrovní přejímání strategických aktivit v organizaci a identifikovat faktory působící na základní úrovně tohoto modelu“. Za tímto účelem je tedy nejprve prozkoumán vývoj a současný stav teorie týkající se strategických aktivit, jsou definovány základní pojmy. Následně je pomocí empirických dat zjišťováno, nakolik se organizace nacházejí na jednotlivých úrovních navrženého modelu, také jsou testovány faktory ovlivňující uplatňování základních úrovní modelu v organizacích. Druhá část empirického šetření se zabývá aplikací strategických aktivit v organizacích veřejné správy, především různými druhy bariér, které této aplikaci brání.

Abstract:

Doctoral thesis "State and development of the theory and practice of strategic management" deals with the strategic activities and their application in the organization; it focuses partly on the organizations of public administration. The main objective of this thesis is "to create a model of levels of adoption of strategic activities in an organization and to identify factors influencing the basic levels of this model". The development and contemporary state of theory relating to strategic activities are analyzed in the first part; basic terms are defined. Then the empirical data are used to find out at what extend the organizations are located at different levels of the proposed model. The factors influencing particular levels of the model in organizations are tested. The second part of the empirical survey deals with the application of strategic activities in organizations of public administration, especially with various kinds of barriers that hinder this application.
