The importance of psychotherapeutic education for helping professions

Abstract:

Diplomová práce na téma Význam psychoterapeutického vzdělání v pomáhajících profesích se zabývá problematikou psychoterapeutického vzdělávání a jeho významem, jak vyplývá z názvu. V teoretické části jsou nejprve popisována obecná témata psychoterapie jako je její vymezení, historie a současný stav, základní proudy, formy či prostředky psychoterapie. Dále se věnuji osobnosti i profesi psychoterapeuta a s nimi spojenými riziky. Důležitá je kapitola o psychoterapeutickém vzdělání, jeho možnostech, náplni a požadavcích na vzdělávací programy. Poslední teoretická kapitola se zabývá psychoterapeutickými instituty, uvádím jejích stručný přehled.Empirická část je zpracována kvantitativně-kvalitativní formou. V první fázi byl rozdán dotazník, v druhé pak provedeno několik rozhovorů na vybraná témata plynoucí z dotazníku. Cílem pak je zjistit, jakou měrou ovlivňuje psychoterapeutické vzdělání profesní i osobní život a jak se uplatňuje v praxi pomáhajících profesí.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis on the topic of The importance of psychotherapeutic education for helping professions deals with the problematic of psychotherapeutic education and its importance, as it arises from the title.Firstly, general topics of psychotherapy are described in the theoretical part such as its determination, history and current status, basic trends, forms and instruments of psychotherapy. Further on it deals with character and the profession of the psychotherapist and with the possible risks it can carry with it. An important chapter is about psychotherapeutic education, its possibilities, its contents and educational programme requirements. The last theoretical chapter deals with psychotherapeutic institutes where I present an overview of institutes.The empiric part of the thesis is carried out in a quantitative-qualitative form. In the first phase a questionnaire was handed out, in the second phase several interviews on chosen topics resulting from the questionnaire were carried out. The aim was then to find out how much does psychotherapy influence professional and private life and how it applies in practice of helping professions.
