Technology of augmented reality focused on sports utilization

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřená na oblast augmentované reality a její možné využití ve sportu. Práce je orientovaná na technologii chytrých brýlí pro augmentovanou realitu, má za cíl představit jejich konkrétní modely a zjistit na základě technologického vybavení a designového zpracování jejich možné využití při sportování. Na začátku se bakalářská práce věnuje definici a historickému kontextu augmentované reality, krátce řeší jednotlivé typy AR a jejich rozpoznání, využívané technologie a rozlišení klíčových komponent. V práci jsou popsány obory, kde se již chytré brýle využívají a jaké výhody má jejich implementace. Poslední část práce se věnuje rešerším jednotlivých modelů chytrých brýlí. U každého modelu je popsána technologie, kterou disponuje a jeho designové zpracovaní. Na základě těchto dvou kritérií je vyhodnoceno, zda je možné nebo vhodné využít konkrétní model chytrých brýlí k zobrazování podstatných dat při sportování.

Abstract:

My bachelor thesis is oriented on the subject of augmented reality and its possible use in sports. The thesis is focused on the technology of smart glasses for augmented reality, its aim is to introduce concrete models of the glasses and to find out their possible use based on their technological equipment and design processing. The thesis starts of with the definition and historical context of augmented reality. It focuses briefly on the particular types of AR and their recognition, used technologies and distinction of the key components. Fields in which the glasses are already in use are described together with the pros of their implementation. The last part of my bachelor thesis focuses on the individual models of the smart glasses. Description of the technology and design is given for each model. Based on these two criteria, it is evaluated whether it is possible or appropriate to use the particular model of smart glasses to display essential data during sports.
