Abstract:
Diplomová práce se zabývá volební geografií městských lokalit. Analyzováno je prostorové rozložení volební podpory vybraných stran v Brně a Ostravě. V analýze jsou zahrnuty volby do PS PČR, magistrátů a místních zastupitelstev obou měst z let 2006 a 2010. V práci jsou nalezeny typické lokality se zvýšenou podporou konkrétních stran a za pomoci kontextuálních faktorů pro většinu stran vysvětleny příčiny …more

This diploma thesis deals with electoral geography of urban areas. Territorial distribution of electoral support of chosen parties in Brno and Ostrava is analyzed. The subjects of analysis are national elections to the Chamber of Deputies and municipal elections to the City Council and all Local Councils in years 2006 and 2010.
