This bachelor thesis deals with stochastic models of network traffic. In practice, these are modelled by queueing theory. In order to understand it, there are summarized the basics of probability, and then, the focus is shifted to random processes, in particular, Markov and Poisson processes. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá stochastickými modely síťového provozu. Ty se v praxi modelují s využitím teorie hromadné obsluhy, nazývané také teorie front. K jejímu pochopení jsou nejprve shrnuty základy pravděpodobnosti a poté jsou popsány náhodné procesy, zejména Markovovy a Poissonův proces.
