Comparison of aspects of strategic development of two selected regions NUTS II.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce na téma „Komparace aspektů strategického rozvoje dvou vybraných regionů v soudržnosti NUTS II“ se v teoretické části zabývá popisem regionální politiky, typologií regionů a popisem systému NUTS II. Zaměřila jsem se na velmi výrazné regionální disparity, které jsou způsobeny přechodem k tržnímu hospodářství. V praktické části je provedena komparace aspektů strategického rozvoje dvou regionů soudržnosti NUTS II, které spadají do opačných stupňů zmíněné typologie. Komparace Regionů soudržnosti Jihozápad a Severozápad ukázala na výrazné disparity v různých oblastech hospodářského i společenského života. Na jedné straně region výrazně rozvíjející se a na straně druhé region upadající. Především v ekonomické a sociální oblasti se snaží regionální politika odstranit, nebo alespoň zmírnit dopad těchto zásadních rozdílů. V závěrečné části jsou shrnuty příčiny vzniklých nerovností, zejména z pohledu sociálního a ekonomického, s návrhy na nápravu vzniklých rozdílností a efektivnosti regionální politiky.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis is on the topic of "Comparative aspects of strategic development of two selected regions at NUTS II" in the theoretical part describes regional policy, typology of regions and a description of NUTS II. In this work we are shown very significant regional disparities, which are caused by the transition to a market economy. In the practical part is a comparative aspects strategic development of the two regions NUTS II, which fall into the opposite degrees mentioned typology. Comparison of the Cohesion Regions Southwest and Northwest pointed to the significant disparities in the various fields of economic and social life. On the one hand, the region has dramatically evolving and the other region in decline. Particularly in the economic and social seeks regional policy eliminate or at least mitigate the impact of these fundamental differences. The final part summarizes the causes of inequalities arising particularly from the perspective of social and economic, with proposals to remedy the disparities and effectiveness of regional policy.
