Abstract:
This bachelor thesis called "Dreaming in Lovecraft's works" examines the importance of dreams and dreaming in the life of Howard Phillips Lovecraft and their projection into his works. The work will be focused in particular on his short story "The Dreams in the Witch House" and novella "The Dream-Quest of unknown Kadath", and their protagonists. Tato bakalářská práce s názvem "Snění v Lovecraftových dílech" se zabývá významem snů a snění v životě Howarda Phillipse Lovecrafta a jejich projekcí do některých jeho děl. Práce bude blíže analyzovat zejména povídku "The Dreams in the Witch House" a novelu "The Dream-Quest of unknown Kadath", a jejich hlavní postavy.
