The Cult of the Mother of God of Hromnice in Bučovice
Abstract:
Práce se zabývá historií místa, kde byla uctívána kopie milostné sochy z kostela bývalých trinitářů ve Vídni. Do Bučovic tento kult přinesl knížecí účetní Ferdinand Jan Faber se svou ženou. Kult Matky Boží Hromničné byl živý v průběhu 18. století a určitý návrat lze sledovat ke konci 19. a na začátku 20. století.
Abstract:
This thesis is concerned with the history of the place where the replica of the amatory statue from the church of former Trinitars in Vienna was adored. Ferdinand Jan Faber and his wife founded the cult 'Mother of God of Hromnice'. Together, they brought this cult to the town of Bučovic.
