Football in the shadow of blast furnaces: goals, triumphs and fans of the Vítkovice football club until 2011.
Abstract:
Práce se zaměřuje na historii Vítkovického fotbalového klubu od jeho založení až po rok 2011 na základě odborné literatury, archivních pramenů a orální historie. Mapuje klíčové události, sportovní úspěchy, hmotné zázemí a fanouškovskou kulturu klubu. Hlavní cíl práce je přiblížit sportovní a sociokulturní význam klubu.
Abstract:
The work focuses on the history of the Vítkovice football club from its founding until 2011. based on scholarly literature, archival sources, and oral history. It maps key events, sporting achievements, material infrastructure, and the fan culture of the club. The main goal of the work is to highlight the sporting and sociocultural significance of the club.
