Creating a graded reader for language teaching

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá zjednodušenými čítankami a jejím cílem je jednu vytvořit. V teoretické části se autorka zaobírá historií výuky Anglického jazyka jako druhého jazyka. Dále tato práce pojednává o čtyřech hlavních „jazykových dovednostech“, avšak nejvíce o čtení. Hlavní kapitoly práce se věnují „zjednodušené četbě“ a popisují, jak tyto čítanky vznikají. This bachelor thesis deals with graded readers and its aim is to create one. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part introduces the history of English as a second language. Furthermore it deals with the four language skills and their importance.
