Bakalářská práce je věnována tématu afrického umění a jeho následného vlivu na evropskou kulturu v průběhu 19. a 20. st., přičemž za záchytný bod práce považuji britskou trestnou výpravu do Beninu, která se uskutečnila v roce 1897.Chronologické rozdělení afrického umění a jeho popis v kontextu geologického zařazení jsem zkoumala v první kapitole. The thesis is devoted to the theme of African art and its subsequent influence on European culture during the 19th and 20th centuries.
