The Satanic Verses
Abstract:
Tato práce se zabývá knihou "Satanské verše", jejímž autorem je spisovatel Salman Rushdie. Kniha je pojmenována po události z rané islámské historie. Tento incident je stále citlivým tématem pro mnoho muslimů, a proto kniha způsobila protesty mezi věřícími, především v Iránu. Nejvyšší íránský duchovní ájatolláh Rúhollách Chomejní vydal fatvu, která odsoudila Salmana Rushdieho k smrti.
Abstract:
This work is focused on the book "The Satanic Verses" written by Salman Rushdie. This book is named by event of early Islamic history. This incident is still a sensitive issue for Muslims and therefore the book caused a storm among believers, mainly in Iran. Iranian Shiite leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini issued fatwa, which sentenced Rushdie to death.
