Voluntary childlessness from the perspective of voluntarily childless

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce na téma Dobrovolná bezdětnost z pohledu dobrovolně bezdětných se zabývá tím, jaké důvody vedly dobrovolně bezdětné respondenty k volbě celoživotní bezdětnosti a jak vnímají své rozhodnutí. První část práce se věnuje vývoji rodiny, vysvětlení rozdílů mezi nedobrovolnou a dobrovolnou bezdětností, kde je dobrovolná bezdětnost dále rozpracována i z pohledu dobrovolné bezdětnosti ve stáří. Dále společenské normalitě, vzdělání a vývoji společnosti z hlediska změny rolí, postavení ve společnosti a rodině a změnám reprodukčního chování, které dobrovolnou bezdětnost ovlivnili. Analytická část práce zjišťuje důvody, které vedly k dobrovolné bezdětnosti, zda je dobrovolná bezdětnost rozhodnutí, co pro respondenty znamená rodina, jak blízké okolí a společnost přijímá jejich rozhodnutí a co si myslí o dětech jako sociální normě. Druhá část práce se snaží hledat souvislosti a propojení s odbornou částí práce. Téma bakalářské práce by mělo vyvrátit stereotypní přesvědčení společnosti o dobrovolně bezdětných a přiblížit tuto skupinu veřejnosti.

Abstract:

The Bachelor thesis ,,Voluntary Childlessness from the perspective of voluntarily childless'' is concerned with the reasons which led these respondents to take the choice of lifelong childlessness and how they perceive their decision. The first part is focused on the development of the family, explanations of the difference between voluntary and involuntary childlessness, where the voluntary childlessness is subsequently elaborated from the perspective of voluntary childlessness in old age. Furthermore, social norms, education and the development of society from the perspective of the role changes, status in society and the family, and changes in reproductive behavior. The analytical part of this thesis is looking for the reasons that led to the voluntary childlessness, if the voluntary childlessness is choice (decision), what does the family means for respondents, how their friends and society accepts their decisions and what they think of the child as a social norm. The second part of thesis also searching connections with the theoretical part of the thesis. The bachelor thesis should disprove stereotypical in society about the voluntarily childlessness and describe this group to the public.
