Tendencies to re-emigration among Czechs in Banat

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá českou menšinou žijící na území rumunského Banátu. Je to komunita, která si díky své izolovanosti uchovává mnoho zvyků a tradic, které jsou mnohdy v České republice již přežitkem. Do současné doby se uchovalo šest ryze českých vesniček, kam se každoročně sjíždí davy turistů za poznáním života zdejších krajanů. V této práci definuji a analyzuji největší problémy a specifika v životě tamních obyvatel. Věnuji se historii Čechů v Banátu, jejich kulturním životem, který je velmi spojen s náboženstvím nebo problematikou nezaměstnanosti či výstavby větrných elektráren. Hlavním cílem práce je výzkum reemigračních tendencí příslušníků zdejší komunity, a to jak lidí, kteří nadále obývají ?česká Banát? a potenciálně by mohli mít o reemigraci zájem, tak lidí, kteří již remigrovali a mají možnost porovnat realitu s očekáváními. V minulosti již proběhlo několik vln, kdy se krajané ve velkém počtu stěhovali do České republiky a zůstává otevřená otázka, zda se tento ?reemigrační potenciál? již nevyčerpal. Hypotézy jsou dvě, bud se tento potenciál již vyčerpal a krajané, kteří zůstali v Banátu již o reemigraci zájem nemají, nebo zde stále existují tendence k migraci do České republiky. Cílem je zjistit, zda platí druhá hypotéza a tendence zde skutečně existují a čím jsou případně tyto tendence způsobeny.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the Czech minority living in Romanian Banat. It is a community, which, due to its isolation retains many customs and traditions, which are often in the Czech Republic is already an anachronism. Until now preserved six purely Czech villages, where crowds of tourists annually heading off to discover the life of the local compatriots. In this work I define and analyze the greatest difficulties and specificities in the life of local residents. I occupy myself with the history of the Czechs in the Banat, their cultural life, which is very connected with religion or unemployment problems, or construction of wind turbines. The main goal of this thesis is to research re-emigration tendencies of members of the local community, both people who continue to inhabit the "Czech Banat" and could potentially be re-emigration of interest, so that people who already re-emigrated and have the opportunity to compare reality with expectations. There have been several waves when compatriots in large numbers migrated to the Czech Republic and remains an open question whether this "re-emigration potential" has been exhausted. Hypotheses are two, either this potential has been exhausted and compatriots who remained in the Banat already on remigration not interested or there are still a tendency to migrate to the Czech Republic. The aim is to determine whether the second hypothesis is true and the tendency here actually exist and what are possibly caused by these trends.
