Presentation and communication skills of manager in the selected company

Abstract:

Předmětem této bakalářské práce je analýza prezentačních a komunikačních dovedností vedoucích pracovníků na Ústavu podnikové strategie Vysoké školy technické a ekonomické v Českých Budějovicích. Teoretická část je věnována základním pojmům a seznámení se s ideálním stavem manažerské komunikace k podřízeným. Aplikační část si klade za cíl poukázat na současnou situaci s ohledem na prezentační dovednosti a komunikaci manažerů, její vliv na motivaci zaměstnanců a způsob řešení konfliktů. Výsledkem této práce je zjištění, že manažeři disponují velmi dobrými prezentačními i komunikačními dovednostmi. Na základě realizovaného výzkumu bylo také zjištěno, že nadřízení by mohli více motivovat své podřízené, neboť motivace je jedním z nejdůležitějších manažerských kompetencí.

Abstract:

The subject of this bachelor thesis is an analysis of the presentation and communication skills of managers at Faculty of Corporate Strategy of Institute of Technology and Business in České Budějovice. The theoretical part is devoted to basic concepts and acquaintance with the ideal state of managerial communication with the subordinate employees. The aim of application part is to point out the current situation with regard to the presentation skills and communication of managers, its influence on the motivation of employees and the way of solving conflicts. The result of this research is that managers have very good presentation and communication skills. Following the obtained information from the research it was also found that managers could motivate their subordinate employees more, because motivation is one of the most important managerial competencies.
