Abstract:
Cílem této práce je charakterizovat a přiblížit postavu boha Enkiho/Ey a jeho působení v mezopotamském panteonu. Bude se zabývat jeho původem, osvětlí různá jména, kterými byl nazýván, bude pozorovat vývoj a měnící se postavení jeho osobnosti v průběhu času a popisovat vztahy s ostatními mezopotamskými božstvy, především pak s jeho synem Mardukem, který se v pozdějších pramenech ujímá předního místa …more

The aim of this thesis is to characterize and present the figure of the god Enki/Ea and his function in the Mesopotamian pantheon. It will discuss his origins, shed light on the various names by which he was called, will observe the development and changing status of his personality over time and describe his relationships with other Mesopotamian deities, especially his son Marduk, who in later sources …more
