Transformation of a Fairy Tale: Versions and Parodies of "Little Red Riding Hood" in Some 20th Century German-Speaking Writers

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the transformation and analysis of one of the oldest fairy tales - Little Red Riding Hood from the the collection Children's and Household Tales (Kinder- und Hausmärchen) by the Brothers Grimm. The fairy tale is analysed on the basis of myths definition and the subseqent comparison of the fairy tale to these myths. The thesis primarily deals with the transformation from myth to parody, and the famous parody version by Peter Rühmkorf, which is found in the book History of Little Red Riding Hood - Origin, Analysis, Parody of a Fairy Tale (Geschichte vom Rotkäppchen - Ursprünge, Analysen, Parodien eines Märchens), is used as an original. From the transition from myths it is pointed out, how did the fairy tale transformed.

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá proměnou a analýzou jedné z nejstarších pohádek vůbec Červené karkulky. Na základě definice mýtů a přirovnání pohádky k určitým mýtum je pohádka analyzována. Práce se zabývá především přechodem od mýtu k parodii, kde je použita jako předloha známá parodovaná verze od Peter Rühmkorf - Das Rotkäppchen und der Wolfspelz, která se nachází v knize Geschichte vom Rotkäppchen Ursprünge, Analysen, Parodien eines Märchens. Z přechodu od mýtu k pohádce je poukázáno na to, jak se pohádka proměnila.
