Czech federal life in Olomouc in the second middle 19th and the beginning 20th century

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je nastínit podobu českého spolkového života v Olomouci v druhé polovině 19. století a na počátku 20. století. Doba druhé poloviny 19. století byla dobou velkých změn v celé společnosti. Změny způsobily především technické vynálezy a poznatky, které ovlivnily hospodářství. Tímto byla ekonomika modernizována, rozvoj podnikání působí na dosavadní sociální uspořádání. Nejdůležitějším krokem pro vytvoření svobodného spolkového života na našem území bylo vydání zákonů č. 134 a č. 135 z roku 1867 o spolkovém a spolčovacím právu. Diplomová práce si klade za cíl rekonstruovat fungování vybraných českých spolků. Rekonstrukce činností vychází především z tištěných olomouckých periodik Našince a Pozoru. Vybrané spolky jsou typologicky odlišné, všechny mají společnou snahu o zvýšení prestiže českého obyvatelstva v německém městě.

Abstract:

The 19th century created conditions that led to the rise of civil society. Society begins to make use of and draw a new term - ?leisure time?. The life in the city was not only about work, but also entertainment. In Olomouc, as well as in other towns and cities, life in associations is developing and prospering and the latter half of the 19th century may be called the golden era of associations. The most important measure allowing the creation of independent life in associations in our country was the issue of the Acts No. 134 and 135 from 1867 on the Law on association and coalition. The activities in associations affected public life in all its spheres, culture, economy, sport, politics etc. An important source is periodicals issued in Olomouc. The topic of the Czech life in associations in Olomouc is a broad one and is suggested for further processing, especially the question of comparison with the actual German associations and the development of national relations in Olomouc.
