Abstract:

Téma závěrečné práce je adaptace seniorů na domov pro seniory. Cílem této práce je zjistit, jak v pobytovém zařízení pro seniory vytvářet podmínky k optimální adaptaci. Text se zabývá mnoha termíny, které se vztahují k této problematice. Zmiňuje pojmy stárnutí, stáří, adaptaci na stárnutí a stáří, sociální služby pro seniory a mnoho dalších. Obecně představuje domovy pro seniory a následně i adaptaci na domov pro seniory. Popisuje druhy, způsoby adaptace, individuální plánování a význam rodiny pro seniory v procesu adaptace. V neposlední řadě Vás seznamuje s Domovem pro seniory Slunečnice, ve kterém byl prováděn výzkum pro tuto závěrečnou práci. Cílem dotazníkového šetření bylo poskytnout na základě zjištění z průzkumu zpětnou vazbu o tom, jak může Domov pro seniory Slunečnice usnadnit nově příchozím uživatelům proces adaptace na nové prostředí během prvních dnů a týdnů.

Abstract:

The topic of the final thesis is the adaptation of seniors to the home for the elderly. The aim of this thesis is to determine how residential facility for the elderly to create conditions for optimal adaptation. The text deals with many term related to this issue. It mentions the concepts of ageing, old age, adaptation to on ageing and old age, social services for elderly and many others. Generally, it introduces homes for elderly and subsequently also adaptation on home for the elderly. It describes kinds, ways of adaptation, the individual planning and importance of the family for the elderly to the process of adaptation. Finally, it introduces to the Home for the elderly Slunečnice in which a research was conducted for this final thesis. The aim of the questionnaire inquiry was to provide based on the findings of the survey a feedback on how to Home for the elderly Slunečnice may facilitate new coming user to the process of adaption to the new environment during the first days and weeks.
