Józef Poniatowski and his role in the Napoleonic Wars
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce se zabývá situací Polsko litevské unie před a po trojím dělení m Polska v 18. století a popisuje vznik Varšavského knížectví na pozadí napoleonských válek . Hlavní část práce je zaměřena na život knížete Józefa Antoni Poniatowského a život jeho rodiny. Popisuje jeho život od dětství po jeho službu v armádě až po jeho smrt roku 1813 v bitvě u Lipska.
Abstract:
This Bachelor thesis is following situation of Polish Lithuanian Commonwealth before and after three partitions of Poland in 18th century and describes the foundation of duchy of Warsaw. The main part of the work is focused on life of Józef Antoni Poniatowski and on life of his family. Describes his life from childhood to his service in the army to his death in 1813 at the Battle of Leipzig.
