Abstract:
The thesis deals with semantical analysis of three adverbs of frequency that mean "not often": rarely, seldom and infrequently. I have worked with internet corpuses such as the British National Corpus and the VIEW. I have examined the occurrence of individual adverbs and provided statistical data of the most frequent collocations.
