Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou inovační výkonnosti. Cílem práce bylo analyzovat stav inovační výkonnosti ČR a komparovat ho se získanými daty s ostatními zeměmi EU a navrhnout řešení inovačních změn výkonnosti ČR, které je nezbytné transformovat a inovovat. Pro splnění cíle byla provedena analýza nástrojů European Innovation Scoreboard (EIS) a Global Innovation Index (GII). Na základě dat z těchto nástrojů byl vypracován samotný výzkum ve formě komparace, který přinesl konkrétní poznání o tom, jak si ČR vede vůči ostatním zemím EU. Výsledkem tohoto výzkumu je umístění ČR v žebříčku EIS, kde se nachází ve skupině mírných inovátorů. Byly definovány slabé dimenze (Digitalizace, Vazby a Intelektuální aktiva) a silné dimenze (Firemní investice, Inovátoři, Dopady na prodeje) a pro všech 12 dimenzí byla vytvořena mapa doporučení. Tyto doporučení jsou využitelné jak pro veřejnou, tak i podnikovou sféru. Omezením tohoto výzkumu jsou nepravidelné aktualizace dat nástroji EIS, nedostatečné statistiky ČSÚ týkající se indikátorů dle klasifikace EIS a pro některé odborníky mohou být omezením i samotné indikátory, které nemusí pokrývat všechny důležité parametry dané dimenze. Výsledky, doporučení a zmíněné limity mohou posloužit jako základ pro další výzkum v oblasti inovační výkonnosti.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the issue of innovation performance. The aim of the thesis was to analyse the state of innovation performance of the Czech Republic and to compare it with the data obtained with other EU countries and to propose solutions for innovative changes in the performance of the Czech Republic, which is necessary to transform and innovate. In order to achieve the objective, the analysis of the European Innovation Scoreboard (EIS) and Global Innovation Index (GII) tools was carried out. Based on the data from these tools, the research itself was developed in the form of a comparison, which provided concrete insights into how the Czech Republic performs in relation to other EU countries. As a result of this research, the Czech Republic was ranked in the EIS ranking as a moderate innovator. Weak dimensions (Digitalisation, Connections and Intellectual Assets) and strong dimensions (Corporate Investment, Innovators, Sales Impact) were defined and a recommendation map was created for all 12 dimensions. These recommendations are applicable to both the public and corporate spheres. The limitations of this research are seen as the irregular updating of data by the EIS tools, the lack of CSO statistics on indicators according to the EIS classification, and for some practitioners, the indicators themselves may be a limitation as they may not cover all the important parameters of a given dimension. The results, recommendations and mentioned limitations can serve as a basis for further research in the field of innovation performance.
