Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on the development of a web application which provides secure files uploading and sharing. Part of the thesis is focused on the analysis of existing applications that provides this functionality. These web applications encrypt files on the client’s side during the upload. They ensure secure storing of files on the server. If file is uploaded correctly, user gets a link where the file can be decrypted and downloaded. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design and implement the web application which allows easy and secure upload of file. The application also allows user to upload an encrypted file to the user's Dropbox account. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter introduces the issue and it explains the principles used by existing web applications. The second chapter is focused on the analysis and design of my application. This chapter explains principles, which are used for encryption and decryption of files. The chapter also introduces the method of generating random values. The last part of the thesis is focused on the implementation of the web application and its testing.

Abstract:

Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá vývojom webovej aplikácie, ktorá umožňuje bezpečné nahrávanie súborov a ich následné zdieľanie. Súčasťou práce je analýza už existujúcich aplikácií, ktoré poskytujú túto funkcionalitu. Tieto webové aplikácie šifrujú nahrávané súbory už na klientskej strane, čím sa zabezpečuje bezpečné uloženie súborov na server. Po nahraní súboru je možné získať odkaz, na ktorom je možné daný súbor dešifrovať a stiahnuť. Cieľom bakalárskej práce bolo navrhnúť a implementovať webovú aplikáciu, ktorá umožní jednoduché a bezpečné nahrávanie súborov. Aplikácia tiež umožňuje nahrať zašifrovaný súbor na Dropbox účet používateľa. Práca je rozdelená na tri kapitoly. Prvá kapitola uvádza čitateľa do problematiky a predstavuje princípy, ktoré používajú už existujúce webové aplikácie. Druhá kapitola je zameraná na analýzu a návrh vlastnej aplikácie. Veľká časť tejto kapitoly je zameraná na spôsoby šifrovania a dešifrovania súborov. Kapitola sa tiež venuje spôsobu generovania náhodných hodnôt. Posledná kapitola sa venuje samotnej implementácii webovej aplikácie a jej testovaniu.
