Demon Love - Image of Sexuality in Painting at the Turn of 19th and 20th Century in Bohemia
Abstract:
Diplomová práce Démon láska se zabývá zobrazením sexuality v malbě na přelomu 19. a 20. století v českém prostředí. Sleduje, co všechno vizuální ztvárnění sexuality ovlivňovalo. Interpretace děl vychází z dobového vnímání sexuality, genderové analýzy a z konkrétního uměleckého programu. Práce se zaměřuje především na dílo Maxmiliána Pirnera, Karla Hlaváčka, Jana Preislera a Josefa Váchala.
Abstract:
Diploma work Demon Love is about image of sexuality in painting at the turn of 19th and 20th century in Bohemia. Diploma work investigates with what conditions visual figuration of sexuality was influenced. The interpretation results from the contemporary apprehension of sexuality, gender analysis of artwork and from the certain art programs.
