Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá emergentními trendy v chování uživatelů digitálních zařízení. Ti hledají metody, jak dosahovat zdravějšího a vyváženějšího vztahu s digitálními technologiemi a obsahem. Jako zastřešovací výraz pro tyto tendence jsme zde zvolili výraz „digitální střídmost“. Ten se projevuje v podobě celé řady strategií a přístupů k interakci s digitální technologií. Dvěma nejvýraznějšími strategiemi, se kterými se můžeme v této oblasti setkat, jsou „digitální diety“ a „digitální detoxy“. Tato práce popisuje uvedený fenomén a jeho projevy a pokouší se poskytnout náhled do faktorů, které stojí za jeho existencí.

Abstract:

This master‘s thesis concerns itself with emerging trends in the behaviour of digital device‘s users. These users look for methods of reaching more healthy, more balanced relationship with digital technologies and content. We have chosen “digital temperance“ as an overarching term for these tendencies. They manifest in the form of wide range of strategies and approaches to the interaction with digital technology. Two of the most significant strategies, which we can encounter in this area, are “digital diets“ and “digital detoxes“. This thesis describes phenomenon of digital temperance and its manifestations and aims to describe factors in the background of its existence.
