Development of text comprehension by preschool children

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce má teoreticko-aplikační charakter a zabývá se rozvojem porozumění textu dítětem předškolního věku. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na vymezení základních pojmů týkajících se čtenářské gramotnosti a porozumění textu, na problematiku procesu porozumění textu a možnosti práce s textem u dětí předškolního věku. Praktická část této bakalářské práce obsahuje sadu aktivit k textům, popis realizace této sady a v závěru je uvedena evaluace sady z pohledu dětí, přihlížející učitelky mateřské školy a autorky bakalářské práce, jakožto účastníků při ověřování této sady v MŠ.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis has the theoretical-applied character and it deals with the development of early literacy among children in kindergarten. The theoretical part focuses on the specification of the basic terminology concerning reading literacy and reading comprehension; it also focuses on the problematic of the process of the reading comprehension and different ways of working with texts in pre-primary education. The practical part of this bachelor thesis contains the set of activities accompanying the texts and the description of its realization. At the end of the thesis, there is the evalua-tion of the set made by children, an onlooking teacher from the kindergarten and the author of this thesis as the participants of verifying of this set in the kindergarten.
