Abstract:

Diplomová práce "Srovnání obecní samosprávy v Letovicích a Jevíčku v letech 1865- 1914" se snaží zachytit nejen problematiku obecní samosprávy a občanských elit v rámci malých a hospodářsky zaostalých měst ve 2. polovině 19. století, ale zároveň se snaží i zachytit důležité mezníky ve vývoji obou porovnávaných měst a poukázat tak na důvody jejich odlišného vývoje. Pozornost je v úvodu věnována otázce rozsahu voličské základny v obou městech, dále problematice nejbohatších poplatníků města, otázce volební účasti ve volbách do obecního výboru, socio-profesní skladbě obecního výboru. Následující pasáž práce se pak detailně věnuje rozboru obecních výborů v Letovicích a Jevíčku ve druhé polovině 19. století. Primárně se zaměřuje na problematiku profesní fluktuace obecního výboru. Následuje pohled na významné spolky v obou městech, které nejvíce ovlivňovaly společenský život spolu s náhledem, kteří jejich členové byli zároveň i členy obecního výboru. Pozornost je také věnována rozboru obecních příjmů a výdajů a také se zde pomocí detailnějšího pohledu na jednotlivá funkční období starostů pokusíme poukázat na důležité obecní stavby a události, které formovaly vývoj obou měst.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis "Comparison of Local Self-Government in Letovice and Jevíčko in the years 1865-1914" seeks to capture not only the problems of municipal self-government and civic elites within small and economically backward cities in the second half of the 19th century but at the same time tries to capture the important landmarks in development of the two cities to be compared, pointing out the reasons for their different development. Attention is focused on the issue of the size of the electoral base in both towns, the issue of the richest municipal taxpayers, the issue of election participation in the municipal committee, the socio-professional structure of the municipal committee. The following part of the thesis is then devoted to the analysis of the municipal committees in Letovice and Jevíčko in the second half of the 19th century. Primarily focuses on the issue of professional fluctuation of the members of municipal committee. Following are the views of major societies in the two cities that most influenced social life along with the insight that their members were also members of the municipal committee. Attention is also paid to the analysis of municipal incomes and expenditures, and we will try to point out important municipal constructions and events that shaped the development of both cities through a more detailed view of individual mayors' term of office.
