Cieľom tejto diplomovej práce je zoznámiť čitateľa s voľne dostupným a bezplatným dohľadovým systémom na monitorovanie počítačových sietí. V teoretickej časti je popísaný dôvod prečo vlastne treba monitorovať počítačovú sieť, sú rozobrané jednotlivé metódy a nástroje monitorovania a bližšie sa zoznámenie s konkrétnym monitorovacím nástrojom Nagios. Focus of this thesis is to introduce the reader to freely reachable and free of charge system for monitoring of computer networks. In theoretical part there is mentioned reason why i tis necessary to monitor computer network.
