Quantitative dynamical models of FGF signalling pathways
Abstract:
In this thesis, we focus on quantitative modelling of signalling pathways using ODE models. We use FGFR3 pathway (Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor 3) as a case study. FGFR3 pathway shows either sustained and transient behaviour. However, the molecular mechanism responsible for differences in the pathway activity is unknown. V tejto práci študujeme kvantitatívne modelovanie signálnych dráh pomocou ODE modelov. Ako prípadová štúdia nám slúži dráha FGFR3 (Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor 3). Dráha FGFR3 sa vyznačuje dvomi typmi chovania, buď je aktívna prechodne alebo trvalo. Mechanizmus zodpovedný za rozdielne aktivity dráhy nie je známy. Tieto chovania sme zapísali pomocou formulí.
