Creating product cost calculations in a small business

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou jednoho z hlavních nástrojů manažerského účetnictví - kalkulací. Práce je rozdělena do tří hlavních částí. V teoretické části budou zkoumány teoretické aspekty spojené s kalkulací jako nástrojem v rámci manažerského účetnictví. Praktická část se zaměří na konkrétní případ malého podniku a provede analýzu procesu vytváření kalkulace výrobku. V analytické části budou zhodnoceny praktické aspekty vytvořené kalkulace a provedena analýza podkladů z výzkumu o fungování kalkulací v jiných podnicích. Závěrečná část práce shrne dosažené výsledky a zváží, jaký vliv má kalkulace na fungování malého podniku.

Abstract:

The thesis will focus on the analysis of one of the main tools of managerial accounting - costing. The work will be divided into three main parts. The theoretical part will examine the theoretical aspects associated with costing as a tool within managerial accounting. The practical part will focus on a specific case of a small business and will analyze the process of creating product costing. In the analytical part, the practical aspects of the created costing will be evaluated, and an analysis of data from research on the functioning of costings in other enterprises will be conducted. The concluding section of the thesis will summarize the achieved results and consider the impact of costing on the functioning of a small business.
