Táto práca pojednáva o jednoduchých a zložitých metódach určenia hmotnosti bielych trpaslíkov v intermediálnych polaroch pomocou rentgenových spektier z kozmických misií XMM-Newton a INTEGRAL. V IP sa v určitej vzdialenosti od bielych trpaslíkov rozpadajú akréčne disky kvoli velmi silnému magnetickému poľu. Abstract:
This thesis examines simple and advanced methods of determining the mass of white dwarf companion in intermediate polars by using X-ray spectra from XMM-Newton and INTEGRAL/IBIS. In IPs are accretion disks in some distances from WD destroyed by strong magnetic field and accre- tion continues through accretion curtain where the accreting matter follows the magnetic force lines.
